Pakistan Youth & Community Association (PYCA) was established in 1993, the organisation is accountable to an independent Board of Directors, and over 4000 affiliated members.
PYCA provides educational/training/advisory, cultural and support services to the wider local community in Leicester. Our training programme covers a wide variety of accredited as well as non-accredited courses.
PYCA is an approved Training Centre by University of Cambridge, OCR and NOCN.
Though we are the only representative organisation which gives the Pakistani community a voice in Leicester, our services are OPEN to ALL regardless of their ethnicity, religion, colour, sex, sexual or political orientation.
Our users are from a wide cross-section of ethnicity – the Centre offers a range of services to a wider community, with over 50% of users coming from non-Pakistani communities in the catchment area.
We work with public, private and voluntary sector organisations alike to ensure that the varied and diverse BAME communities of Leicester have equal access, an equal voice and equal rights as citizens of British society.
